Periods 1/2 & 5/6 - In your Do Now section of your notebook, write the following sentences and identify the part of speech for each word in the sentence.

1. Micah is hiding under the bed.

2. This cup of tea is delicious and very soothing.

3. As usual, the Stormtroopers missed their shot.

4. Wow! That doughnut is huge!

5. The largest slice is mine.

6. Of course, I looked everywhere!

ROUGH DRAFT - On a lined sheet of paper with your name, date, and period at the top, please rewrite your completed rough draft for the three-paragraph Tuesday of the Other June essay. Your work needs to be neat, readable, three paragraphs long, and include all the steps from our prewriting lightning rounds. Edit your work according to the Grammar & Content Code

Mr. Beckwith will be collecting your completed rough draft at the end of class.
