What symbols can you think of and what do they represent?

Objective: Given the short story The Red Guards, students will identify vocabulary, questions, connections, and important aspects of the text using interrupted reading strategies.

Classwork:

Compare and contrast the government styles of capitalism and communism.

Using interrupted reading strategies, read the Red Guards and take notes on the story.

Vocabulary Unit 3 worksheet, complete and correct the worksheets.
