Do Now: Daily Edit


Celebrated in late January or early February. Chinese New year starts on a new moon and ends 15 days later during the Lantern Festival. A sing of Spring, Chinese New Year is the bigest holiday in China. Paper decorations and flours are placed in homes, and people exchange gift. One gift of Chinese New Year is called lucky money. Lucky money is money rapped in small red envelopes that are give to children by freinds and relatives.


Classwork:

Given a vocabulary worksheet, I will correct my answers to use as a study guide for the test on Tuesday.

Given a Newsela article, I will create a power-point presentation that explains the important points of the article to an audience who has not read the article.
